Achenes unwinged, except for the lower ventral part, a style sometimes persistent; intermediate leaves with 2–3 cuneate lobes, sometimes with rigid filiform apical segments; pedicels shorter than 50 mm, slightly recurved; petals (4–)5–6.5 mm long, receptacle slightly elongating in fruit; freshwater pools, Crete, to be confirmed for Greek mainland, Peloponnese, Greek Aegean Islands.
